The Metal Gods: Judas Priest and Motorhead

I went to many concerts in my life: Iron Maiden (2009), Megadeth (2012), Accept (2013), Megadeth with Black Sabbath (2013). But the most recently was the last Tuesday: Motörhead with Judas Priest, both bands are classics of Rock from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, both band promoting their new album: Redeemer of Souls and After Shock.

Judas Priest was founded in Birmingham in 1969 and is leaded by the vocalist Rob Halford, who at his 63 years old still singing like in the 80’. The other members are Glenn Tipton (guitars), Richie Faulkner (Guitars), Ian Hill (Bass guitar) and Scott Travis (Drums).

Motörhead was founded in London in 1975 by the vocalist and bass guitarist Lemmy Kilmister. The other members are Phill Campbell (Guitars) and Mikkey Dee (Drums).

The concert started with a not well known Chilean band called Inquisición, who gained the heart of the spectators with their old sound like the bands from the 80’. Then, was the turn of Motörhead and people went mad, they started to jump, to push other people, to scream and burn flares.

The hits and the heavy air was so disgusting, so, I don´t enjoy Motörhead so much. But, when was the time for Judas Priest, the metal gods, and people were a little quiet.

The concert was ended at midnight, and was a hard trip to go back home.
